Madidhoo is seeking reliable and hardworking Farm Labourers to support day-to-day agricultural operations on the island.
The role involves practical field work across cultivation areas, including crop care, harvesting, land preparation and other tasks required to support ongoing agricultural production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, cultivation and crop care
- Support harvesting and collection of produce
- Prepare cultivation areas for planting
- Assist with irrigation, fertilising and general field maintenance
- Carry out weeding, cleaning and other routine agricultural work
- Handle harvested produce as required
- Assist with loading, unloading and movement of agricultural materials
- Use basic farm tools and equipment safely
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work as part of the agricultural team
- Help maintain clean and organised working areas
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual work
- Willingness to work in agricultural and island conditions
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous farming or agricultural experience is an advantage, but not essential
Training may be provided depending on the role and level of experience.
