More Than Four Decades in Maldivian Agriculture

The agricultural development of Madidhoo is closely connected with Mohamed Waheed, whose farming career began in 1984.

From hands-on cultivation to commercial production, market supply and agricultural development, his work has been built around a long-term belief in the potential of locally grown food.

In 2020, his contribution to Maldivian agriculture was recognised with the National Award of Honour in the field of agriculture.

That experience continues to shape Madidhoo today.
